Command Line Arguments
NIYoW supports the following command line arguments:
/folder folder_name
- Loads the contents of folder_name into list.
/rulesfile rules_file - Loads set of
rules from rules_file into the existing rules set.
/disasterrecovery - Undo last
recorded renaming task.
The /disasterrecovery argument
This option restores the last recorded renaming
task.
While renaming tasks can be undone using the Undo
button within NIYoW, this is only possible while the program is still open. When
you close NIYoW, the memory is cleared and the recorded undo data is being erased.
However, there is still a way to restore the last renaming task even if you have
already closed the program. Each time you close NIYoW, the program checks if
there is undo data available and saves it. You can then restore the names by
executing NIYoW with /disasterrecovery argument.
For example:
"c:\program files\niyow\niyow.exe" /disasterrecovery
The following window will show up:
Figure 10.1
Pressing OK will restore the names from the last renaming process. Note that these changes cannot be undone!
